Realife built models & AI tools in Blender for Tinker Dungeon

Session

To get a "tinkered" look inspired by tinkering workshops, all models of Tinker Dungeon where physically built out of cardboard and scanned via the Lidar scanner of a mobile phone.

Game designer Christoph Rasulis of Brainbite Studios shows, on one side the process of the handcrafted tinkered art creation and scanning, on the other the how to use AI as a creative tool, by connecting Claude with Blender for model optimization and editing with AI. A fast way to create your own prototype!

Currently in development, Tinker Dungeon is an multiplayer extraction dungeon crawler tasking players to repeatedly visit dungeons to save a whimsical kingdom and to craft and upgrade inventive tools—like glue guns and paperclip bows—from scavenged cardboard, scrap metal and electronics. The game takes part in the Level Up Accelerator Programme of Games/Bavaria.
