Unity 6 Graphics Optimization for Mobile & XR
Join us for Optimizing XR in Unity 6, where we’ll explore the tools and techniques needed to deliver smooth, comfortable experiences across mobile and XR devices. We’ll review platform performance requirements and frame-time targets before loading a sample scene and optimizing it step by step.
Using features such as GPU Occlusion Culling, the GPU Resident Drawer, Mesh LOD, Adaptive Probe Volumes, and more, we’ll demonstrate platform agnostic approaches to reduce CPU and GPU workloads while maintaining visual quality. Along the way, we’ll identify bottlenecks using the Rendering Debugger and Render Graph Viewer, break down the render pipeline, and show how to measure whether your project is meeting its XR performance targets in real-world development scenarios.
