1 Billion Rows - Optimizing Swift for the Billion Row Challenge

Processing a billion rows is different than most day-to-day tasks we do as Swift developers. .Small inefficiencies in your algorithms can expand to massively increase the runtime performance of your program. The Billion Row Challenge was originally created for Java developers and has gained in popularity in other communities as well. Recently Ben completed the Billion Row Challenge in Swift to see how the traditional methods of developing in Swift and using the standard library change when you're processing vast amounts of data. We'll talk about memory-mapped files, scanning the file searching for particular characters, parsing floats, SIMD, and of course Swift Concurrency.
