Engineering leadership is more than a job to me. I’m passionate about engineering excellence at scale, building high-performing teams, and transforming technology! Over the last decade, I have scaled and built teams to deliver award-winning apps and services to over 15 million users.
I enjoy all facets of software engineering, from debating and selling solutions to senior stakeholders to recruiting and mentoring engineers. My leadership style is empathetic; I listen to my team’s problems, remain calm and work towards solutions. I believe automation is essential, and wherever possible, I’ve led my team in automating processes to shorten development cycles.
Outside of work, I am a recognised technology thought leader and have featured on various podcasts, webinars and panels discussing Mobile apps and engineering leadership. Also, I'm a key part of Europe’s largest Apple engineering group, NSLondon. We have over 3,000 members and have held regular events at many of the UK’s largest tech giants, including Google, Revolut, Monzo, JustEat, AWS, Ford, Deloitte and Bumble. This year, we were showcased by Apple at their WWDC25 conference and were also the first engineering event to be hosted at their new Battersea HQ
Native vs. Cross-Platform: The Future of Mobile App Development
Panel
The mobile landscape is evolving faster than ever. From native Android and iOS to cross-platform powerhouses like Flutter and React Native, developers are faced with an abundance of choices and unprecedented fragmentation. In this cross-framework panel discussion, experts from Android, Flutter, Swift, and React Native will debate the future of mobile app development. We'll explore the trade-offs between native performance and cross-platform efficiency, the rise of AI in coding, and how emerging tech like XR is reshaping user expectations.
